Random web-working survey

I took a quick survey this afternoon to see how members of my Twitter community are web-working.  These stats are not scientifically significant, but I found the results interesting.  Thanks to everyone who participated.

Nearly half (60%) described themself as an employee vs. self-employed, and the majority (85%) worked for small companies (1-500) employees.

  1. That’s an interesting little survey! A good glimpse into the mind of a typical Twitter user. It’s good anecdotal evidence of how Twitter users are also power-users of social media tools. It also shows how many seem to multi-task – or, at least, to use their browsers efficiently. Neat!

    Services include gmail, nGenera, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Finance, and Edgar-Online
